Sportradar has bolstered its suite of online casino solutions with the launch of a new brand.

The sports data and content aggregator announced on Tuesday that it has launched Playradar, a new brand that is dedicated to providing iGaming solutions to online operators. Sportradar’s new iGaming business will feature an ecosystem that delivers long-term value to clients through monetization efforts and the development and delivery of innovative products.

Sportradar is leveraging its expertise in sports data and betting to provide online casino content through Playradar. The company’s new iGaming business provides a live experience hub that allows players to live stream games while playing, while also combining historical sports streams and casino gaming to deliver a hybrid gaming experience.

The brand will also support the delivery of online casino games to operator partners.

“iGaming represents a natural and scalable extension of our business, and a strategic acceleration of our long-term growth roadmap,” said Sportradar Chief Executive Officer Carsten Koerl.

“Playradar content is designed to provide optimized cross-sell between the worlds of sport and casinos, helping operators to increase player value and session length at a time when engagement and retention are key to operational sustainability.”

Playradar will only have a presence in regulated online casino markets, with an initial roll-out in North America, Latin America and the U.K. The brand plans to release a range of iGaming titles throughout 2026 that include slots, virtual sports and classic table games.

“By combining our unrivalled experience in sports data and live streaming, along with a proven track record of product development, we aim to create hybrid content and gaming experiences to capitalize on the rising popularity of sports casino consumption,” said Sportradar Executive Vice President of iGaming Edo Haitin.

“We’re uniquely positioned to seamlessly blend live and historical sports events, innovative gaming mechanics, and casino content, and have the advantage of being able to distribute games to an already licensed portfolio of operators.”

Haitin is leading Sportradar’s online casino business after joining the company last October. Before assuming his role as EVP of iGaming, Haitin spent more than five years at Playtech, serving as the CEO of the company’s live casino segment. He also spent time as an executive at online casino game developer Games OS.

New & expanded partnerships for Sportradar

Sportradar expanded its online casino business with the launch of Playradar as it continues to partner with key stakeholders in sports.

Last week, it expanded its partnership with Baloncesto Superior Nacional Puerto Rico (BSN) to integrate its integrity service solutions for wagering on the professional basketball league. The integration builds on Sportradar’s agreement with BSN as an exclusive coaching and talent rights holder. Sportradar is also a betting and data rights holder.

BSN provides Sportradar with access to more than 20 professional basketball leagues.

Sportradar also recently reached a strategic agreement with the Professional Fighters League, becoming the mixed martial arts organization’s exclusive betting data and streaming rights partner. The sports content and data aggregator also expanded its partnership with FIFA to deliver integrity solutions for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The deal allows FIFA to use Sportradar’s monitoring and investigative services until 2031.
