PureWager Group is solidifying its footprint in the U.S. commercial gaming market through a partnership with one of the MLB’s most popular franchises.

The sports betting and online casino company announced a new deal with the Baltimore Orioles, making PureWager the exclusive sports betting partner of the MLB team. The deal is PureWager’s first partnership with a U.S. professional sports franchise.

“Partnering with the Baltimore Orioles represents a defining moment for PureWager,” said PureWager Group Chief Executive Officer Elliott Banks. “Our goal is to enhance the fan experience responsibly, using our technology and operational expertise to create engaging, community-first entertainment that complements the game we all love.

“We’re proud to work alongside one of Major League Baseball’s most iconic franchises and look forward to building something that benefits Orioles fans, the Maryland sports community, and the continued growth of PureWager.”

The Orioles and PureWager will work alongside one another to deliver fan experiences at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the team’s home ballpark since 1992. The Orioles are also hosting the PureWager Pavilion, a social gathering space located inside the team’s home venue.

PureWager and the Orioles began developing the space during the 2025 season. It includes a covered patio and a private bar. The PureWager Pavilion can be reserved for private events of up to 300 people, and can also be used by the general public during home games.

“We’re honored PureWager Group chose to join forces with the Orioles as they break into the U.S. market, and we know that this will be the start of a bright future for them in sports betting on this side of the pond,” said Orioles Chief Revenue Officer, Don Rovak.

“We’re confident our fans are going to enjoy the PureWager Pavilion, and it will quickly become a destination where both individual fans and large groups come together to enjoy a game at one of the most iconic ballparks in baseball.”

PureWager teamed up with the Orioles as it prepares to launch its proprietary sports betting and online casino platform in the U.S. The operator is eyeing Michigan’s gaming market for a forthcoming launch, with a goal of expanding its reach to four additional states.

It recently received an exclusive online gaming license with the Odawa Indian Tribe.

PureWager prepares for US market entry

PureWager secured a deal with the Orioles after receiving a fresh injection of capital in 2025 and entering into a strategic partnership with an advisory and investment firm.

Last April, private equity firm 22 X Ventures announced a strategic investment in PureWager to support the development of its tech stack and AI-personalization capabilities – however, the specific details of this strategic investment were not disclosed at the time.

In 2025, PureWager also landed a partnership with BoscaSports to leverage the company’s sportsbook and retail kiosk technology with a focus on U.S. markets.

PureWager is also an SCCG Management partner, securing a deal with the advisory and investment firm last July. The deal enables PureWager to accelerate its licensing while developing region-specific content, payment, and responsible gaming tools.
