DraftKings has added another prominent online casino supplier’s content to its portfolio across multiple key iGaming markets.
Relax Gaming’s titles are now live on DraftKings’ casino platform in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as in Canada’s casino-heavy regulated online market of Ontario.
Relax, which operates as RLX Gaming in the U.S., called the partnership a new step in its North American expansion. It first launched in the American market in December 2023 with BetMGM in New Jersey and extended that collaboration to Pennsylvania last year.
It also works with other operators such as PlayStar in the Garden State.
Overall, it has a portfolio of more than 70 partner studios and over 4,000 game titles. It also supplies games to operators in jurisdictions including the U.K., Malta, Spain and Mexico.
Relax has also looked to South America in recent times, entering both Brazil and Peru on Jan. 1, 2025. It already operated in the LatAm region in Colombia.
A big coup for Relax on long-term US journey
Last year, the company’s Chief Regulatory Officer Alexia Smilovic Rønde told SBC Americas that the company has set its sights firmly on what she called the three main U.S. states for iGaming: New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
“We entered the U.S. market with a long-term vision,” she said. “… Our ambitions for the U.S. will require stamina. No matter how well our content has performed outside of North America, we know we need to pay very close attention to player preferences in local markets, understanding and deepening our knowledge of what does and doesn’t work here.
“We will always have our finger on the pulse to hit the right states at the right time. Our main priority right now is to establish a healthy foundation with key partners before expanding geographically.”
In DraftKings, Relax has just secured arguably its biggest partner yet in the U.S.
