Scientific Games is providing one of America’s lottery markets with advanced technology to streamline retail operations and boost sales.

The gaming and lottery technology developer is providing its SCiQ technology to Kansas Lottery retailers allowing for efficient sales of instant scratch games. The SCiQ technology provides optimized digital displays allowing customers to proficiently order instant scratch games while allowing lottery retailers to enhance inventory and sales operations.

The technology also provides market basket performance reports and product security.

“The Kansas Lottery’s approach with our 1,500 retailers is to provide services and seek opportunities to use technology that helps make their operations more efficient and profitable,” said Director of Sales & Marketing Stephen Ortiz. “It didn’t take long for our more progressive independent retailers to ask how they could get this technology in their stores.”

The Kansas Lottery and Scientific Games collaborated in May 2024 by securing a five-year deal for Scientific Games to offer its Enhanced Partnership program in the state.

The program provides its partners with data analytics, advanced logistics, game planning services, portfolio management, brand services and marketing support. Scientific Games also provides the Kansas Lottery with gaming and retailer management systems.

Scientific Games provides its SCiQ technology to more than 10 lottery markets across America. It recently offered the technology to European lottery markets for the first time.

As of Feb. 25, Scientific Games provides games and services to more than 150 lotteries in 50 countries. It is also considered one of the largest lottery tech providers in the U.S.
