ALT Sports Data is teaming up with the world’s premier series of extreme sports events.
The California-based sports trading and consumer data provider has announced a global partnership with extreme sports competition X Games. The deal allows action sports fans from around the world to wager on X Games events for the first time in the competition’s 30-year history. As part of the pact, ALT Sports Data can access X Games data.
The data will allow ALT Sports Data to provide traditional and prop betting markets.
“This partnership represents a significant step forward in our mission to redefine fan engagement in some of the world’s most engaging and exciting sports,” said ALT Sports Data CMO and co-founder Todd Ballard. “X Games is the most iconic brand within the action sports community, and we are excited to bring innovative betting markets to their passionate fan base. By integrating sports betting, we aim to create deeper connections, attract new audiences, and drive the continued growth.”
X Games, which has reported a 113% increase in streaming audiences in the past 12 months, is teaming up with ALT Sports Data ahead of its Aspen competition later this month. X Games Aspen begins on Jan. 23 and includes ski and snowboard events.
ALT Sports Data will also help X Games expand its reach ahead of the launch of a new team-based format. X Games League, backed by private equity firm MSP Sports Capital, begins in 2026 and will provide year-round international competition.
