FanDuel has introduced a new co-branded slot game with the NBA.

NBA Super Slam was developed by White Hat Studios and will be available exclusively on FanDuel Casino in Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the U.S., as well as in Ontario north of the border.

The bespoke basketball-themed slot brings FanDuel Casino players into an arena with a cheering crowd in what the operator calls “a total NBA experience.” Players will spin for hoop symbols which collect basketballs with various cash values and can swish cash prizes and chase rings against a shot clock buzzer.

Former NBA player and co-host of FanDuel TV’s “Run It Back” show Chandler Parsons is an ambassador for the game.

“With the NBA season in full swing, I am excited to be partnering with FanDuel Casino to launch NBA Super Slam,” said Parsons in a FanDuel press release. “Anyone who enjoys playing slots and has a love for the NBA like I do, there’s no better game to play.”

“This exciting new slot game, NBA Super Slam, will bring the fun to the court on FanDuel Casino,” added Daniele Phillips, FanDuel Casino VP of marketing. “We are excited to partner with the NBA and White Hat Studios on this exclusive new game and look forward to new and existing customers engaging with it.”

FanDuel and NBA have longstanding official relationship

FanDuel has been a co-official sports betting partner of the NBA alongside DraftKings since late 2021.

The Flutter-owned operator and the league have worked together on other product offerings in the past, such as a NBA Swish Showdown title on the FanDuel Faceoff platform last year. They also collaborated both last year and this year on a promotion to provide new and existing FanDuel customers with a three-month subscription to NBA League Pass when opting in and placing a $5 wager.

FanDuel isn’t the only company to partner with the NBA on a gaming offering in recent weeks. Scientific Games has struck a multi-year deal to create custom NBA-licensed instant scratch games and prizes to U.S. lotteries. The deal agrees an opportunity for lotteries to work with in-state NBA teams to create team-specific games through sponsorships.
