Checkd reworks FlashPicks app as SmartPicks in US market

Checkd has launched a new and improved app, SmartPicks, as part of its bid to gain a stronger foothold in the U.S. market.

SmartPicks is a reworking of the FlashPicks app previously offered by New York-based Checkd International, the North American sports betting specialist division of Checkd Group.

Checkd says the new app boosts its on-the-ground presence in the American market by bringing a unique sports betting-focused app to the U.S. via a platform built on existing technology in the U.K. to bring

The app aims to innovate the sports betting experience across the US through a streamlined, informative app. SmartPicks places the player props hit rate tool front and center in the app and provides odds comparison with licensed U.S. sportsbooks. Other key features include a same-game parlay builder with add-to-bet slip functionality as well as allowing combined selections, automatic and instant bet tracking for bets built through the app, and customizable notifications for both team and player bets.

SmartPicks aims to improves betslip functionality for users with the ability to instantly add selections. It has 60+ player prop markets with historical and filterable hit rates viewable with trending props plus automated insights.

Checkd intends to update SmartPicks throughout the NFL season.

To unlock full access, users will need to subscribe to SmartPicks Pro subscription, representing Checkd Group’s first move into subscription revenue.
