BetComply is continuing to grow through its leadership team.
The online casino compliance firm announced on Tuesday the appointment of Loes Wetzer as Operations Director under the leadership of interim CEO Daniel Brookes. Wetzer is joining BetComply with more than 20 years of experience in consultancy and project management. She has spent time as a Project Manager for Gaming in EU and Gran Via.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join the dynamic team at BetComply,” said Wetzer. “This is already home to many of the brightest minds in iGaming compliance, and what they’ve achieved in such a short space of time is remarkable. I’m looking forward to playing my role in the journey.”
The hiring of Wetzer adds to a series of recent moves by BetComply to bolster its business.
The company agreed to a strategic partnership in May with independent test lab RiskCherry and legal advisory service White Coral. As part of the deal, the three entities teamed up to offer a complete, go-to-market service that allows iGaming suppliers to launch their products in new markets. The service, which is the result of industry-wide demand from game studios, offers expertise in regulatory licensing and certifications.
BetComply, co-founded by Mike De Graaff, has also partnered with sportsbook supplier Metric Gaming. BetComply has secured a deal with Metric Gaming as the supplier aims to expand its reach in regulated markets across the world. Metric Gaming has secured partnerships in some of Europe’s largest markets, including the UK and Netherlands.
BetComply has a portfolio of partners that also includes Pretty Technical and Veriff.
