North America’s largest daily fantasy sports operator PrizePicks has recruited esports data firm Bayes Esports to boost its gaming experience.

The companies say the partnership will bring unprecedented access to exclusive, highly granular real-time esports data directly from tournament organizers and game publishers. Bayes Esports’ exclusive official match data will now be available to fantasy operators across all North American states where fantasy gaming is legal.

PrizePicks is the first fantasy operator in the U.S. to incorporate Bayes Sports’ official live match data into their operations. Included in the partnership are Bayes Esports’ Live Match Data, Historic Data and Widgets for Media.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone for Bayes Esports as we continue to expand our presence in North America,” said Amir Mirzaee, co-CEO and managing director at Bayes Esports. “We are excited to provide PrizePicks with our official match data, enabling them to offer an enhanced and more engaging experience to their audiences.”

Bayes already had a footprint across numerous U.S. states through partnerships with operators such as bet365, as well as in the regulated Ontario gaming market in Canada. Now, it has its first landmark link-up with a specialist fantasy giant.

PrizePicks continues run of partnerships

“In order to provide our members with the best esports products in North America, we needed to partner with the highest quality esports data providers,” added Adam Boothe, director of esports at PrizePicks. “Counter-Strike is our fourth biggest market and through our partnership with Bayes Esports we can continue offering this title 365 days a year.

“We recognized a gap in the North American esports space and recently launched The Esports Lab, a media lab and education site for non-esports fantasy players. Bayes Esports data is powering CS2 and Dota 2 for a detailed stats experience not found anywhere else in our region.”

The union with Bayes is the latest in a slate of new partnerships for PrizePicks.

In June alone, it has already struck deals with Kindbrige Behavioral Health and State Farm Arena.

The partnership with Kindbridge, a mental health service provider dedicated to supporting individuals facing challenges related to problem gambling, will see PrizePicks provide its customers with Kindbridge’s clinical services at no initial fee to its players and customer-facing employees.

Also this month, the DFS platform teamed up with State Farm Arena, the home of the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Dream in PrizePicks’ home state of Georgia. As part of the deal, the stadium and PrizePicks will collaborate to host dozens of events annually featuring artists, comedians and athletes. PrizePicks advertising will be visible throughout the arena for every event.
