Continent 8 Technologies is solidifying a presence in America’s most storied sports betting market.

The connectivity and cybersecurity provider for the gaming industry has received two approvals from the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) for operations in the Silver State. Continent 8 has received authorization from the regulator to deliver its services via a data center that will be located in state. The Europe-based tech supplier is also permitted to handle operations for its Nevada-licensed business from its site in New Jersey.

“Our bold and customer-centric approach has positioned us as the number one iGaming infrastructure provider for operators and suppliers targeting the U.S. market, and adding Nevada to our growing network of states strengthens this position,” said CRO Nick Nally.

The approvals allow Continent 8’s portfolio of clients in the iGaming industry to leverage its innovative data center in Atlantic City to deliver products seamlessly throughout Nevada.

Continent, which is licensed to use its full suite of solutions, will also use its partnership with Amazon Web Services to bolster hybrid cloud deployments for customers in Nevada.

Continent 8 committed to North America

Since the start of 2024, Continent 8 has made several investments in North America.

In February, the company went live in Vermont as an infrastructure provider for the state’s three licensed online sportsbooks: DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics Sportsbook.

Continent 8 expanded its relationship with Fanatics in April by agreeing to manage the company’s on-premises infrastructure and services in 20 regulated U.S. gaming markets.

A month later, the company hired Jamie Garcia as its Regional Sales Director for North America. Garcia, who has spent over 10 years in the gaming industry, is responsible for building the company’s digital infrastructure and cybersecurity business in the region.

Continent 8 is live in 30 U.S. states with plans to bring its services to more markets.
