In time for a packed summer of international soccer action, bet365 has launched two new free-to-play predictor games through a partnership with Incentive Games.
The sportsbook now offers a group stage predictor product for both the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany beginning on June 14 and the U.S.-hosted Copa América which kicks off on June 20.
Players including those in bet365’s regulated U.S. markets can predict the basic outcome (win, lose or draw) of every group match in both tournaments for the chance to win a share of a large prize pool.
Each correct pick will earn players points that will be weighted more heavily as the tournament goes on. The more game outcomes users correctly guess, the higher they climb on the leaderboard. Users can edit their predictions at any time for matches that haven’t yet kicked off.
Each predictor game offers a £1 million ($1.28 million) total jackpot if anyone can guess the outcome of every match at the tournament correctly.
“We’re so proud to once again join forces with bet365 to deliver bespoke and truly industry-leading gaming experiences to their users,” said Victoria Harnett, product lead at Incentive Games, said. “This partnership is a testament to the power of collaboration and our shared vision of redefining free-to-play experiences, making them more engaging and, ultimately, more rewarding.”
Bet365 has some experience in free-to-play products already.
In January, the British operator announced it had partnered with fantasy sports provider Scout Gaming Group to launch ‘Daily Lineups,’ a peer-to-peer offering that allows users to compete against one another with a team they build.
Daily Lineups also allows bet365 to compete with other sports betting operators that have launched fantasy-focused products including DraftKings.
Meanwhile, bet365 now offers online sports betting in 10 states after it went live in Arizona and North Carolina in recent months.
