Motorsports governing body USAC Racing has signed up ALT Sports Data as its official data distribution partner with a view to expanding into new markets.
USAC oversees numerous auto racing series and events such as the Sprint Car, Midget Car and Silver Crown series, also known as the Triple Crown. In total, USAC has over 18,000 competitors racing at more than 500 sanctioned events globally.
ALT Sports Data specializes in data for alternative and emerging sports and provides data that allows sports bettors to wager effectively on alternative sports, whether in pre-match or live betting scenarios.
USAC says it will leverage the San Diego-based company to enable legal and official sports betting on National Sprint Car Championship and National Midget Car Championship Series events.
The partnership, which is USAC’s first in the U.S. sports betting market, allows sportsbook operators to create pre-event markets and manage in-race odds.
“At ALT Sports Data, we are driven to bring new engagement to the sports that we follow and admire,” said Todd Ballard, CMO of ALT Sports Data. “As the official data partner to USAC, we are making way for a new and deeply involved audience to have a stake in the outcome across their events.
“Legal sports betting is offering a new way to link to these well-known sports, their globally renowned athletes, and their worldwide communities… leading to more fans and an increased level of engagement.”
“USAC Racing is proud to announce our partnership with ALT Sports Data as our official data distribution partner for legal, online sports betting,” said Kevin Miller, CEO of USAC Racing. “Together, we aim to elevate the excitement of our Silver Crown, Sprint, and Midget series, providing fans with unparalleled access to real-time data and enhancing their betting experience like never before.”

The company’s portfolio of partners includes the Professional Bull Riders, the World Surf League, the Major Arena Soccer League, the Dana White-owned Power Slap organization, and Betway.
