A BetMGM, Borgata Online or Wheel of Fortune Casino player in New Jersey is set to win the highest jackpot ever offered in a regulated U.S. market.
BetMGM’s progressive jackpot pool, which increases every time a game is played but the jackpot isn’t won, sits at a record $4.2 million as of March 18.
The current record, set by BetMGM’s MGM Grand Millions, is $3.5 million, which was paid out in 2021. Last year the slot also paid out jackpots of $2.8 million and $1 million in January and April respectively.
Other online casino operators have come close to breaking the record in the past. DraftKings Casino’s Ancient Fortunes: Zeus Slot paid out $3.3 million in June 2023.

The operator paid out over $138 million in jackpots last year which represents a 32% increase year on year.
BetMGM’s progressive jackpot has a maximum value of $5 million and any additional money generated beyond that value will be added to the subsequent jackpot.
Players are able to win the progressive jackpot by playing online in New Jersey at BetMGM, Borgata, Wheel of Fortune Casino and Party Casino.
Titles within the progressive jackpot range include MGM Grand Millions, Bison Fury, Mirage Mega Magma and Loot’en khamun: The Dead Sea Scrolls.
