A popular father-son duo is coming to the Samsung TV 24/7 channel DraftKings Network.

DraftKings announced today that former football players and longtime radio and TV announced Mike Golic Sr. and Mike Golic Jr. are teaming up for a daily talk show on DraftKings Network.

“We’re excited to expand GoJo’s presence on DraftKings Network and reunite him with his father, Mike Golic Sr, in a daily morning show airing exclusively in video via DraftKings Network. The Golics have been synonymous with morning sports television for more than a decade so adding GoJo and Golic to our lineup instantly creates appointment viewing and listening for our audience,” said Stacie McCollum, Vice President of Content, DraftKings. “Since launching in May, we’ve continued to expand our video offerings and content portfolio to deliver compelling and diverse programming catering to the ‘in on the action fan.'”

The elder Golic was the first to join the fold at DraftKings in February 2022 after he and ESPN parted ways after more than 20 years with the network in 2021. The initial deal was for Golic Sr. to produce his Golic & Smetty podcast with Jessica Smetana.

The younger Golic started working with DraftKings in spring 2022 after leaving ESPN after more than six years. He currently produces a daily podcast, Gojo with Mike Golic Jr. every day along with former Notre Dame teammate Brandon Newman.

At the time that deal was announced, The Athletic noted the plans were already in place for the father-son duo to produce content for DraftKings aiming to launch for the start of the 2022 NFL season.

“Working with my dad in this capacity has always been the best thing I’ve been able to do professionally,” said Golic Jr. “I’m excited for the opportunity and appreciate the platform DraftKings has provided us in reaching sports fans everywhere.”

“Since joining DraftKings in 2021 I’ve been blessed to work for an established organization that takes a forward-thinking approach to fan engagement,” said Golic Sr. “Mike and I look forward to not only entertaining our fans with this new show but also meeting them on the platforms where they consume content.”

DraftKings personality Jessie Cofield will anchor the new program from the Boston office of the operator.

The DraftKings Network continues to add programming via its partnership with John Skipper and Dan Le Batard’s Meadowlark Media group, anchored by The Dan LeBatard Show.
