Nuvei is continuing to flex its muscles in the US payments market by offering its technology and expertise to igaming operator 888.
The Canadian fintech – which added Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds to its list of investors earlier this year – has been making waves across the border with its Instant Bank Transfer technology, the US igaming industry’s first payment method for instant account-to-account deposits and payouts.
Resorts Digital Gaming is already reaping the rewards after striking an agreement with Nuvei in June, and 888 is primed to follow suit and boost its card acquiring and local payment method capabilities to accelerate its growth in the US igaming landscape.

The agreement is just the latest forged between the firms; Nuvei has provided payment services to 888 in Europe since 2017 and also played a pivotal role in the operator’s launch in Ontario last year.
This new arrangement, meanwhile, will see 888 leverage Nuvei’s technology platform, extensive acquiring reach, instant bank-to-bank payments, and deep knowledge of regulated igaming markets to maximize payments acceptance and optimize its risk management.
In addition to enabling 888 to accept deposits, players will be able to instantly withdraw funds from their 888 account directly to their bank card or via Nuvei Instant Bank Transfer.
