The major convergence of the US sports betting industry in New Jersey at SBC Summit North America is still three weeks away, but the growing number of SBC regional events are creating new opportunities for the community to gather and network.

Last week, SBC partnered with Knup Solutions and Insight Global to host a Chicago meetup that gathered operators, casinos, and affiliates for an evening of drinks, conversation, and, of course, deep-dish pizza. The Chicago Meet Up follows a similarly successful event in Denver and is just the start of more regional social events for the gaming industry.

“Relationship building is a fundamental part of the success of SBC Events. Organizing regional meet ups like the Chicago Meet Up allows us to cultivate relationships and create new ones,” said SBC’s VP of Relationships – Americas Nikki Fields. “The Meet Ups are designed to connect people who normally wouldn’t be in contact with each other on a regular basis and share information in a casual environment. Expect to see more SBC Meet Ups not just in North America but worldwide.”

The event wouldn’t have had the success it did without SBC’s partners.

“The sports betting industry is booming and so many new people are entering the industry,” explained Knup Solutions Director of Events Rodney Knuppel. “Organizing events like the SBC Chicago Meet Up helps Knup Solutions stay connected and hear about trends that are happening in the industry.”

“So thankful that SBC allowed us to collaborate on events like the Chicago Meet Up,” added Insight Global Account Manager Karly Soy. “This has enabled us to expand our partnerships while remaining connected to the casino gaming industry.”
