Odds On Compliance and US Integrity have confirmed the appointment of Matt Heap, who will become the Managing Director of the joint venture, ‘Secure Sports Solutions’.
In his new role, Heap will be charged with leading ProhiBet, the JV’s prohibited bettor solution that uses decentralized cross-monitoring and notifications to oversee regulatory requirements related to those prohibited from betting.
The two companies launched ProhiBet as a pilot program involving regulators, sports betting operators, and sports properties across the US.
Heap will now take over the reins of the project, tasked with overseeing the strategic direction and operations, working closely to join the dots between Secure Sports Solutions, Odds On Compliance, and US Integrity.
He joins the firm after a distinguished career of over 30 years in the regulatory sector. In June 2022, Heap stepped down from the Colorado Division of Gaming having been Deputy Director and Chief of Investigations.
Most recently, Heap served at GeoComply, where he worked as a Senior Director of Product Compliance.
