Rush Street Interactive has announced the launch of its BetRivers and PlaySugar House sportsbooks’ NCAA Basketball Squares game as preparations for March Madness continue.
BetRivers and PlaySugar House have enjoyed success with their NFL and NBA versions in the Squares’ series of games, and are making it a trilogy with the NCAA version coming out just in time for the college basketball tournament to begin.
In a similar fashion to both other editions of the game, the game features a board of 100 squares, each representing a combination of final scores. Players must predict the final score of the game by picking the squares, which contain two-single digit numbers.
If, for example, a square displays a three and a nine, it will win if the visiting team ends up with a points total ending in a three and the home side has a total ending in a nine.
“March Madness is one of the biggest sporting events of the year, with fans getting together for watch parties at homes, sports bars, and other venues,” said Richard Schwartz, CEO at RSI.
“Even casual basketball fans get into the spirit of these games and BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse NCAA Basketball Squares will make watching the college hoops action even more exhilarating for bettors this season.”
Players who bet $20 or more will receive a randomly selected square for free, whilst those who bet $50 will receive a second additional square free of charge. Bets of over $100 will be awarded a third free square.
