Odds On Compliance welcomes Marybeth Butler & Ali Ghanavari as new directors

Odds On Compliance has expanded its leadership team, welcoming Marybeth Butler and Ali Ghanavati to its group of directors as it seeks to continue its momentum gained during 2022. Butler and Ghanavati join the compliance tech and consultancy firm as Director of Revenue Audit and Director of Technical Compliance, respectively. “We are thrilled to welcome Marybeth and Ali to the Odds On team,” commented Eric Frank, CEO and Co-Founder of Odds On Compliance. “Each brings extensive and invaluable industry experience to strengthen our compliance team.” Taking the lead on revenue auditing matters, Butler joins Odds On Compliance from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE), where she recently retired after helping to establish the sports betting regulations in the Garden State in 2018. Butler has a decorated career in gaming, which began in 1987 when she joined the New Jersey Casino Control Commission as an auditor. By 1995, she had worked up to being the team lead for Revenue Certification. Ghanavati will lead the technical compliance team at Odds On Compliance, joining from Fubo Gaming where he served as Head of Regulatory Technology overseeing jurisdictional product compliance. Boasting over 30 years of industry experience, he also spent 24 years with the NJDGE, where he later served as Chief Engineer. In 2008, he joined GLI, spending 13 years with the certification service working across its technical compliance, market research and business development departments. These appointments come at the end of a big year for Odds On Compliance, where it rolled out its Playbook product series, which acts as a digital directory for state-by-state gaming industry regulations and comes with AI capabilities. The firm also recently rolled out in Canada as it seeks to grow its North American market presence.
