Three new operators have been issued licenses by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to launch their igaming offerings in the Canadian province’s market.

This past week, Ligtip Limited, Ellipse Entertainment Limited, and Delta iGaming Inc were all awarded licenses to operate in Ontario.

With their new licenses, Ligtip will go live with its TonyBet brand in Ontario, Ellipse will bring its High Flyer Casino brand to the market, and Delta will launch its Delta Bingo and Gaming brand in the province.

The three new licenses handed out by the AGCO in the first week of December follow the three licenses awarded during November to VideoSlots, NetBet, and Coolbear (Coolbet).

Earlier this month, the commission announced that it would be prohibiting operators in Ontario from accepting wagers on UFC events due to betting integrity concerns.

In October, iGaming Ontario published its FY Q2 (Q3) operations market performance report for the province’s igaming market, reporting $6.04bn in total wagers, an improvement on Q1’s $4.07bn.
