Lightning Box has many reasons to celebrate the company’s first year under the Light & Wonder umbrella. Light & Wonder acquired the Sydney-based company last August after a longstanding partnership that included integration on L&W’s OpenGaming platform.

Lightning Box is fresh off its biggest revenue month thanks to the top-ten title LIGHTNING SHENLONG and the strong US performance of LIGHTNING GORILLA. Lightning Box games are currently available on over 50 online casinos across North America and Europe, including BetMGM, Golden Nugget, FanDuel, and Resorts Casino.

In the first year as part of Light & Wonder, Lightning Box has grown 57%.

“We knew that by joining Light & Wonder we would be able to drive forward with our ambitious plans, but even given the huge global power of the Company, the speed at which we have flourished has taken us aback,” said Lightning Box CEO Peter Causley. “Our games continue to hit new heights of popularity around the world and we can’t wait to release new hits to penetrate U.S., Canadian and European markets even further.”

Light & Wonder has three of the top ten titles in the latest edition of EGR North America slot ranks. One of those is Lightning Box’s CHICKEN FOX, which is rapidly climbing the charts with its top-ten debut.

“The team at Lightning Box has a wealth of industry experience that they have put to great use in producing some fantastic content that really resonates with players who enjoy land-based titles. The numbers that have been produced in the first 12 months after the acquisition speak for themselves and prove it was the right decision to bring Lightning Box into the Light & Wonder family. We look forward to breaking more records together in the months and years to come,” said Light & Wonder iGaming CEO Dylan Slaney.
