DraftKings Inc and Live! Hospitality & Entertainment has announced a Sports & Social DraftKings venue is scheduled to open this fall at Somerset Collection in Michigan, a shopping destination located in Metro Detroit.
The Michigan venue is part of the strategic partnership between DraftKings and Sports & Social that began last year to create “unique food, beverage, and entertainment experiences”, combining Live! Hospitality & Entertainment’s dining and entertainment venues with DraftKings’ sports gaming platforms.
“We are thrilled to debut the first-ever Sports & Social DraftKings and offer customers in Michigan our innovative mobile sportsbook app with an exciting in-person experience,” commented Michael Kibort, Sr Director of Retail Sportsbooks at DraftKings.
“Thanks to the strong support of Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, we believe we have created a premier dining, sports, and entertainment destination for fans to enjoy.”
Designed by ICRAVE, Sports & Social DraftKings will offer customers “a premier live sports viewing and wagering experience” with its 32-foot LED media wall to watch multiple games live and host gameday parties.
Customers will also be able to access DraftKings’ mobile platforms to play daily fantasy sports and wager on sports from their mobile devices.
The 10,400 square-foot venue also features food and beverage options, including gameday favorites, curated cocktails, specialty drinks, and a variety of beers. Special food and beverage-focused events will take place throughout the week as well.

Located adjacent to Somerset Collection South, Sports & Social DraftKings will also have a DraftKings Lounge for private parties and events usage, a dog-friendly outdoor patio that can be used for al fresco dining, as well as live music and entertainment with social games such as skeeball, shufflepuck, and arcade games.
