Data science firm Neccton has entered the Ontario igaming market as its responsible gambling software mentor is being used via SkillOnNet’s launch in the province.
Neccton’s mentor is a behaviour analysis tool that alerts the operator and can contact players who display alarming gambling activity.
Following SkillOnNet’s Ontario launch, mentor is now protecting players in the province after gaining a large presence in Europe.
“We started our research in gambling over 15 years ago and have published multiple academic studies in the area of player tracking and responsible gaming,” said Neccton Director and Head of Development Dr Michael Auer.
“We have shown that players who gamble responsibly are more loyal, and their customer lifetime is significantly longer.

Neccton powers SkillOnNet’s Safe Mate programme which allows customers to track how much money they have deposited, wagered and lost as well as the time spent on the site over a six-month period.
