FuboTV has confirmed the appointment of three new executive hires to strengthen its strategic partnerships, content strategy and business development operations.

The first appointment is that of Ben Grad, who has joined FuboTV as its Head of Strategic Partnerships and Operations. Most recently serving as the firm’s SVP of Content Strategy and Acquisition, Grad will report to CEO David Gandler and is charged with developing and leading Fubo’s key external partnerships and internal cross-functional initiatives.

Secondly, Todd Mathers has been appointed as Grad’s replacement as SVP of Content Strategy and Acquisition. In his new role, Mathers will lead the firm’s content strategy, acquisition and licensing for FuboTV with a particular focus on widening its portfolio of sports, news and entertainment programming.

Mathers has worked in a similar role at Verizon/FIOS, where he was Head of Content Strategy and Business Development, leading its content acquisition across all consumer platforms. He has also spent two decades at AT&T and DIRECTV.

Finally, Andrew Steinberg has joined FuboTV as VP of Business Development, where he will be tasked with managing and growing the firm’s networks and creating new opportunities with digital platform partners including Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku and Samsung. Previously, Steinberg has acted as a Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Goldin.

“Ben’s understanding of FuboTV’s business, combined with his expertise and track record as a media executive, will be invaluable as we transition from a start-up to a growth-oriented media and technology company,” said Gandler. “We look forward to the impact Ben can have in this broader strategic role as FuboTV targets profitability in 2025.”

“Todd and Andrew have demonstrably helped expand and diversify the revenue streams of some of the world’s most renowned media businesses,” added Henry Ahn, Chief Business Officer of FuboTV.

“We are excited to tap into their expertise to grow our sports entertainment content experience across multiple platforms while managing costs for consumers and providing value for our shareholders. I am thrilled to welcome Todd and Andrew to FuboTV.”
