B2B igaming technology provider EveryMatrix has confirmed the signing of a patent license agreement with global gaming giant IGT, holder of the largest slot game feature patents portfolio in North America.

Under the terms of the new agreement, EveryMatrix will now be able to offer slots across North America that utilize patented game features within IGT’s portfolio and others in IGT’s game features patent licensing program. The net result, said the tech firm, will be an increase in its reach and a strengthening of its position in the US and beyond.

Erik Nyman, President EveryMatrix Americas, commented: “Signing a patent license agreement with IGT was an important milestone in our US expansion. Through this agreement, EveryMatrix will have access to IGT’s game feature patents, allowing us to distribute our gaming content to partners across North America.”

Stephen Calogero, VP and Deputy General Counsel, Global Gaming and Intellectual Property at IGT, added: “We are pleased to add EveryMatrix as a member of the game features licensing program which has fostered unprecedented innovation for game mechanics across the industry.”

More recently, EveryMatrix announced an expansion of its international content network, investing into igaming studio Jelly, as well as integrating it into its SlotMatrix platform. The move has enabled the UK-based studio to build, manage and distribute its titles to a network of international operators.
