Cryptocurrency betting and gaming operator Stake.com has agreed to a multi-year partnership deal with former Manchester City and Argentina soccer striker Sergio Aguero.

Aguero joins Stake as its latest global representative through to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and beyond. He will work with the operator across several initiatives, including the creation of exclusive content, promotions, and VIP guest packages.

Commenting on the partnership, Aguero said: “I’m delighted to be working with Stake.com and joining their exciting team.

“I’ve watched on with interest as they have become more involved in football and Stake’s ambitions very closely match my own as I move into a new phase of my post-playing career. I can’t wait to get started on all the exciting initiatives we have planned for fans as we build-up to the World Cup later this year.”

Aguero is Manchester City’s all-time leading scorer, winning five Premier League titles during his 10-year spell with the club. For Argentina, he earned over 100 international caps and has won an Olympic Gold Medal and the 2021 Copa America.
