Live! Casino Pittsburgh has unveiled a host of new additions and upgrades to its gaming, entertainment and dining offerings this week, including a new Poker Room (pending Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approval), FanDuel FanCave, reconfigured High-Limit Room and new electronic gaming tables (EGTs).
The changes follow news from the facility regarding investments totaling nearly $135m during its first year of operation.
General Manager Sean Sullivan explained: “These exciting new additions to Live! Casino highlight just how much we are growing and thriving in Westmoreland County. “We continue to listen to the needs of our guests while building on our reputation as a world-class gaming and entertainment destination.”
The new FanDuel FanCave is located on the second floor of the casino, adjacent to Sports & Social. Having previously included foosball tables, darts and FanDuel Sportsbook terminals, the transformed 826-square-foot space still offers the betting terminals, but now serves as a luxurious sports watching lounge. The FanCave is open to walk-in guests to enjoy a game, or can be reserved for fantasy drafts, watch parties, meetings or special events.
Should the PGCB give the official go-ahead, Poker Room – Live! Casino is set to transform the original banquet room on the second floor into a designated poker facility with seven new table games. The Poker Room is expected to open 20 December, pending PGCB approval.
The reconfigured High-Limit Room now includes 18 additional slot machines, while guests will be able to play at 20 new EGTs that will be operational by December 23 (pending PGCB approval). Roulette and Blackjack is available on these electronic terminals with a live dealer. Fourteen of the EGTs will be located outside the main casino bar and six inside the main casino bar.
