Kaizen Gaming’s Betano sports betting brand has sealed a shirt sponsorship agreement with Brazilian soccer club Fluminense. The deal coincided with a Brazilian Cup 2-0 win for the  “tricolores” this week against Red-Bull owned Bragantino while displaying the Betano logo on the jersey for the first time.

Panos Konstantopoulos, the firm’s CMO, said: “This partnership marks our commitment in the Brazilian market. We look forward to seeing the Betano brand in the legendary Maracana which is home to the team. We will work along with the club to find ways to enhance our social responsibility plan in Brazil.”

Fluminense, founded 118 years ago, is one of the most historical teams in Brazil. Based and connected to the people of Rio de Janeiro, the club has won four Brazilian championships, one Brazilian Cup and 31 Carioca Championships. Fluminense plays at the iconic Maracana stadium and was the home for legends including Romario, Deco, Fred and Thiago Silva

Club President Mário Bittencourt noted: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Betano as the team`s main sponsor. I am particularly happy that Betano understands the greatness of our club and I am sure that together we will celebrate many victories and distinctions. We welcome Betano to our family.”

The new agreement further expands Kaizen Gaming’s football sponsorship in Brazil following its alliance with Atletico Mineiro. The operator holds deals with Portugal’s Braga and Maritimo and Greece’s Olympiacos and PAOK, as well as Romanian and Cypriot partnerships.
