Newly formed igaming platform business Strive Gaming has appointed technology specialist Jesse Cary as its Chief Technology Officer with a brief to enhance and future-proof the firm’s efforts in the US and Canadian markets.
Cary spent the best part of a decade at igaming platform Bede Gaming, leading its technical direction and holding several roles including Head of Technical Architecture prior to it completing a major stake sale to the Gauselmann Group.
Most recently, he held roles as Vice President Strategy at High 5 Games and Interim CTO for Avantage Entertainment based out of Florida. He joins Strive Gaming with a deep familiarity and experience of the regulatory challenges in North America, having led the delivery of Player Platform to the Ontario Lottery.
Cary also oversaw one of the largest migrations in the industry while he was Technical Director of Bede, where he played a key role in migrating The Rank Group to its platform.
Commenting on his latest move he said: “I evaluated the igaming platform competitive landscape in North America, and I quickly identified that what Strive has in terms of tech stack and expertise is market leading, so I’m delighted to join.
“I’m excited to contribute from a technical strategy perspective to ensure we can deliver upon our customer pledge of performance at scale in such a challenging and dynamic market, which happens to be my home country. I can’t wait to get started.”
Damian Xuereb, President and CCO of Strive Gaming, said: “Jesse’s wealth of experience with igaming platform architecture, deployment and development coupled with his understanding of the North American market requirements and culture is second-to-none. This makes him the ideal fit to drive forward Strive’s technical ambitions.”
