Playtech has launched its IMS technology platform with leading Colombian operator Wplay across all retail and online platforms.
The two companies have been in partnership since 2019, when Wplay selected Playtech as its strategic technology partner to deliver omni-channel platform and marketing services.
Wplay, live with online betting and gaming in the regulated Colombian market since 2017, employs around 200 staff in the city of Medellín.
The launch of the IMS platform strengthens the partnership with Wplay and marks another significant step in Playtech’s growth in Latin America, as Shimon Akad, Chief Operating Officer at Playtech, explains.
