Igaming holding company Carousel Group has been given licensing approval from the Colorado Division of Gaming to offer legal online sports betting in the state. The firm is now preparing to launch www.SportsBetting.com in Colorado, in partnership with Johnny Nolon’s Casino. It will serve as the web and mobile app portal for customers within state lines.
Group CEO Daniel Graetzer said: “Despite the ongoing and tragic global crisis, we couldn’t be more confident and optimistic about the sports industry and we’re very excited to be bringing our flagship brand to the American market. While other entities have closed their doors and laid off employees, we’re hiring staff and expanding our operations into the United States.”
SportsBetting.com runs on Carousel Group’s proprietary in-house platform which, said the firm, allows it to bring a “…unique and powerful product to the market, which is in contrast to the approach many gambling companies have taken over the last two years since sports betting became legal in the US”.
Graetzer continued: “We have built our business upon a team with years of experience in the industry combined with our own technology, which gives us a huge advantage over the competition. It’s in our DNA to be innovative and with our own technology we will offer something fresh, exciting and very customer oriented to the US betting community.”

Johnny Nolon’s Casino was the first casino to open for casino gambling in Cripple Creek on Oct 1, 1991 and we are looking forward to now finally being able to offer sports betting.”
Carousel Group added that it is currently in the process of expanding into other US states, to be announced soon. The company will be opening its offices in New Jersey and Colorado later this year.
