Despite the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, online casino provider Habanero has reiterated its intention to continue its strengthening and expansion across the Latin America region following its success across Europe.
Launching in Colombia with Codere in 2019, Habanero has already extended its agreement in Mexico thus giving it a good foothold in the region. Moreover, the provider has also signed partnerships with Colombian operator Betjuego and with content aggregator platform Salsa Technology.
In an interview with SBCNoticias, Vera Motto, Business Development Executive at Habanero, stated: “The current goals are to distribute our content in many countries, to reach more operators and to lead the markets.
“Leaders in the region understand that regulations are necessary to create a safe environment for players, to attract international investors and generate new taxes. The regulator decided to help the health system by contributing with local gambling fees.
“It’s always necessary to be aware of particularities. Each operator has its own customer base, and all of them are different in the same market.”
Regarding the regulatory differences in each country, Motto commented on the need to address them separately and also discussed how it’s not necessary to focus solely on localized content.
In a new market, players show their preferences as new content arrives, with the business development executive claiming that the most important thing ‘is to have a portfolio of HTML5 games optimized for mobile.’
The company has also maintained its interest in Argentina, Brazil and Peru, with Motto revealing that Habanero is ready ‘to obtain licenses in all those new markets.’
In addition to this, the online casino provider reiterated the importance of implementing innovative developments for gambling companies who are seeking to attract new customers and keep loyal ones interested.
With its solutions providing access to live data and reports as well as personalized statistics, affiliate systems and benefits for loyal players, among other things, the operator, whose recent developments include free spins, unique tournaments and the fully customizable Jackpot Race, discussed how industry innovations don’t remain in the spotlight for very long.
Motto concluded: “This is what makes the difference between providers: it’s not just the games, it’s also about offering features to complete them and follow marketing analysis.”
