MGM has announced the dates for its forthcoming updates on second quarter earnings for its Resorts International and MGM Growth Properties divisions.
MGM Resorts International will release its financial results for the second quarter 2019 after the market closes on Thursday, July 25, 2019. The firm will host a conference call that day at 5 pm Eastern Time, which will include a brief discussion of the results followed by a question and answer session.
In addition, supplemental slides will be posted prior to the start of the call on MGM’s Investor Relations website at http://investors.mgmresorts.com.
MGM Growth Properties will release its financial results for the second quarter before the market opens on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. The company will host a conference call that day at 12:30 pm Eastern Time, which will include a brief discussion of the results followed by a question and answer session.
According to data from market analyst S&P Global Market Intelligence, shares in MGM Resorts International jumped 15.7% in June due largely, it noted, to a more bullish attitude by investors on the gaming industry per se.
Financial advisory service The Motley Fool commented: “There wasn’t a significant change in MGM’s operations in June, but rather a change in market sentiment. Investors grew more bullish overall, pushing the entire market higher, and casino stocks were a big beneficiary.”
