eCOGRA, the online gaming test laboratory, has made further inroads to the LatAm region with two major approvals, most recently by Coljuegos, the Colombian online gambling regulator, and the Buenos Aires Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC). The ratifications enable eCOGRA to function as an independent testing laboratory in the Colombian and Argentine gaming markets.
Commenting on these approvals, eCOGRA chief executive Shaun McCallaghan said that it was the end product of close liaison and hard work by his staff and the licensing authorities, achieved after a stringent review of the eCOGRA systems and professional capabilities by Coljuegos and the IPLyC.
“Latin America is increasingly becoming an important strategic market to our clients as more countries in this region move to regulate and European markets start to mature,” he said. “eCOGRA currently employs almost 100 highly qualified and fully trained employees who are focused on the online gambling compliance requirements of its clients. We continue to seek accreditation in licensing jurisdictions that are important to our clients to ensure that they are properly reviewed and appropriately certified in their target markets.”
eCOGRA clients include many of the industry’s leading software suppliers and operators such as bet365, 888, GVC, BetVictor, Kindred (Unibet), Danske Spil, 32Red, Betway, Casino Rewards Group, Penningautomatförening (Paf), SBTech, Scientific Games, NetEnt, Microgaming, Relax Gaming, Quickspin, Croatian Lotteries, Fortune Lounge, Betsson and High5Games.
