A select number of the membership of Colombia’s trade body, Fecoljuegos, has taken part in a brand new ‘virtual’ diploma run in collaboration with Bogota’s EAN University. The initiative is designed to cover administrative, technological and financial strategies for firms involved with operating games of chance in the region.

A total of 50 middle and senior management employees from Fecoljuegos affiliates engaged in the scheme which took around 80 hours to complete.

Fecoljuegos president Evert Montero Cárdenas commented: “For Fecoljuegos it is a pleasure to bring together in this diploma the different collaborators of the affiliated companies. We have worked hard to promote the professionalization of the ‘Lucky and Chance Games’ sector, for this reason, we have been concerned to strengthen the academy in our activity with training, conferences, discussion spaces and now with graduates and courses like this that allow people in our sector to grow and add value to our activity.”

The educational program  is a result of a partnership forged between Fecoljuegos and national training service organization, Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) at the beginning of November.
