The All-in Diversity Project has unveiled the latest addition to its Advisory Board, which comes in the form of Director of Licensing for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, Susan Hensel.
The All-In Diversity Project is an industry-driven not-for-profit initiative to benchmark diversity, equality and inclusion. The organization is the recognised global resource for gender, diversity and inclusion for the betting and gaming sector with an aim to make our global industry more inclusive with real actionable tools and data.
Hensel is director of licensing for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. She oversees licensing of the state’s casinos and other gaming and sports wagering related companies as well as the employees working in and supporting the gaming and sports wagering industries. She is a past president of the International Association of Gaming Regulators having served two terms and is on the Board of Trustees.
Hensel is a frequent speaker on gaming issues and has authored articles on topics including the need for regulator and industry collaboration; best practices for Internet gaming; and leadership. She is an Adjunct professor on Gaming Law at Widener University Commonwealth Law School and has previously served in executive level positions with Pennsylvania state government, including Assistant General Counsel in the Governor’s Office of General Counsel.
Commenting on her new role, she emphasised: “I am honored to serve our industry by participating as a member of the All-In Diversity Advisory Board. I applaud All-In for its evidence based approach and its global perspective and look forward to assisting in the organization’s efforts to not only gain greater insight and understanding into the importance of diversity, equality, and inclusion but also to increase awareness of these realities within the global gaming sector.”
The initiative’s co-founder Kelly Kehn added: “This is a tipping point for the All-in Diversity Project. It feels like we are on the verge of a break-through, and Susan’s experience and deep knowledge of the industry both nationally and internationally coupled with her passion to see it improve and thrive will be invaluable as we and the world of betting and gambling move into new and uncharted territories.
“Susan agreeing to join our board couldn’t come at a better time and we look forward to working with an individual who has the respect of the international community in a way very few others have.”
