Merkur Gaming plans to capitalise on the timing of the FIFA World cup by creating a ‘stadium atmosphere’ on booth 59 at the Peru Gaming Show in Lima on June 20 to 21. The title ‘the beautiful game’ will be fully applicable, said the firm, to both the timing of the football event itself and to the array of games and equipment that will be on display.
Said Merkur: “Peru represents a gaming model that other LatAm jurisdictions are seeking to follow. Thanks to a very successful regulatory climate, through the role that the governing body Mincetur plays, and also an increasingly sophisticated player base not just in Lima but across the whole of Peru. This gaming sector continues to expand rapidly with Merkur Gaming undoubtedly one of the most successful supplier companies to its national industry.”
The Peru event, while primary focused on its domestic industry, attracts stakeholders from across all of Latin America. In keeping with its broad appeal the Merkur Gaming team present in Lima will include staff from Argentina, Colombia and Mexico; with the support of gaming specialists from Europe. They will present the firm’s top line games and cabinets including the slant top Avantgarde, now supplemented by the new Avantgarde Trio. Also showing is the Evostar Black Series cabinet.
Charles Hiten, CEO of Merkur Gaming Americas, predicts another highly successful edition of the Peru Gaming Show: “It is an event that has a very special atmosphere and one that has proved extremely successful for us. I take this opportunity of welcoming visitors, customers and business partners as, together, we engage in what I predict will be a great show. One that, this year, will have the added attraction of its World Cup football theme: and we are all ready for kick off!”
