Gentoo Media starts search for new CFO

Gentoo Media is looking for a new CFO after Mads Haugegaard Albrechtsen relinquished his role at the company this week. Albrechtsen is stepping down from his position just 15 months after assuming the role to oversee Gentoo Media’s finances. He joined the affiliate marketing firm in 2025 after three years as a partner at Deloitte.

Albrechtsen also had a five-year stint as a director at professional services giant PwC.

“We would like to thank Mads for his dedication and collaboration during a period of significant change for Gentoo Media,” said Gentoo Media CEO Jonas Warrer.

“Mads has played an important role in the transformation initiated in 2025, including strengthening financial processes, supporting the company’s strategic realignment and helping build a leaner and more focused organization.”

Gentoo Media’s board of directors and management team have already initiated the hiring process for the company’s next CFO and plan to maintain the current organizational structure. Gentoo Media also noted that Albrechtsen’s departure has no impact on the company’s strategy or financial outlook for the rest of 2026 and beyond.

Several personnel changes for Inspired Entertainment

Veteran industry executive Lee Gregory is retiring from his role as COO at Inspired Entertainment. Lee was integral in developing Inspired into a powerhouse content and platform provider for licensed operators around the world.

“Today is my final day with Inspired as I am retiring from full-time employment following nearly 42 years of continuous employment with this amazing company,” said Gregory in a LinkedIn post. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank my many colleagues, both past and present, and Inspired’s valued customers and partners. It has been a real privilege collaborating with you all, and I am very proud of my journey and contributions.”

Gregory’s departure follows a transition period for Inspired as the company onboards a new CFO, Craig Wilson. Inspired and the company’s board promoted Wilson to the role on May 14 after former CFO James Richardson stepped down from the position.
