BetMGM is solidifying its footprint in women’s professional sports through the WNBA.
The sports betting and online casino operator announced on Wednesday a partnership with the Las Vegas Aces marking its first deal with a women’s pro sports franchise. The partnership makes BetMGM the exclusive online casino and sports betting operator of the two-time WNBA Finals champion with the agreement running through the 2027 season.
As part of the deal, BetMGM has marketing across the team’s social media platforms with signage at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino—the team’s home court since 2018. BetMGM is also providing its players with the opportunity to win rewards and experiences, including courtside access at shootarounds and VIP seating.
BetMGM is also expanding its reach in women’s pro basketball through a partnership with the WNBA. The operator landed a pact to be an authorized gaming partner of the league.
“On the heels of an incredible 2024 season when WNBA delivered significant growth in all areas of fan engagement, and with so much excitement surrounding the 2025 season, we want to continue to lean into betting and finding new and innovative ways to engage with our fans and provide the experiences they want,” said WNBA Chief Growth Officer Colie Edison.
The deal, which also runs through the 2027 season, provides BetMGM with commercial inventory on nationally televised broadcasts of league games along with tickets and experiences. The WNBA and BetMGM will also collaborate to deliver co-branded content.
BetMGM plans to take its partnership with the WNBA to the next level by developing a league-branded online slot game. The title will be the first-ever WNBA online casino game and will be exclusively available through BetMGM. The WNBA-themed game will be available in jurisdictions where BetMGM is licensed as an online casino operator.
In addition to BetMGM, the WNBA also secured deals with FanDuel and DraftKings.
BetMGM gives back to local communities
The sports betting and iGaming giant is celebrating its partnership with the Aces by giving back to local communities across Nevada. Earlier this week, BetMGM, Aces, MGM Resorts International and nonprofit organization The Just One Project launched a partnership.
The partnership creates the BetMGM Steals for Meals program, which has BetMGM donate $50 to The Just One Project for every Aces steal. The Steals for Meals program provides meals and supportive services to food-insecure families in Nevada.
