With Awager having recently entered an exclusive U.S. partnership with fantasy sports betting giants FanDuel, General Manager of North America Warren Steven, takes a closer look at how the company’s unique brand of online entertainment has brought the magic of brick-and-mortar casinos into the virtual space.

Although most iGaming companies are aware of the enhanced engagement potential providing a live casino experience can bring, few have harnessed the power of transitioning bricks-and-mortar casino content to a digital environment quite as well as pioneering game provider, Awager.

Offering a completely unique proposition within the iGaming industry, Awager seeks to bridge the gap between land-based casinos and virtual action by providing players with an online platform that links them directly to their favorite real-life slots. Utilizing the latest 4K streaming and touch-question technology, they can then engage with these games just like they were there in the flesh.

In order to make this seemingly impossible level of immersion attainable, Awager creates dedicated broadcast studios for each of its partners which can be branded and customized to their exact specifications. With this giving them full control over logo placement, color scheme and the range of games featured, they can create an experience that’s truly tailored to their users.

While Awager recently teased the new studio it designed for FanDuel, the company already has a more established example with its long-term partner, Loto-Québec. Having proved a big hit with Canadian players, the line-up broadcast by Awager for the site has expanded several times – with this being a real testament to the entertainment they provide.

“Awager isn’t so much filling a gap in the market as it is creating one”

In addition to this increased game offering, Loto-Québec has also upgraded to version three of Awager’s product, with this promising to add further layers of immersion through enhanced visual and audio quality and a range of social options. Seen as a major milestone for the company, the new product iteration will bring players closer to a genuine bricks-and-mortar casino experience.

Whereas conventional live dealer titles seek to replicate the casino floor, Awager’s product is the only one that actually puts audiences there and enables them to spin the reels on physical slot machines. To add even further realism, they’re also free to browse games and navigate their way around while talking with their fellow players, just like they would if they were attending in person.

With such a unique proposition, Awager isn’t so much filling a gap in the market as it is creating one – and there’s certainly been no shortage of demand for the company’s services across North America. Indeed, prior to the FanDuel announcement, Awager had already been granted approval by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) to offer its product in New Jersey and opened a dedicated studio in the Garden State.

This in turn paved the way for the FanDuel partnership to really take shape, with the operator planning to offer Awager’s one-of-a-kind experience to its VIP customers in New Jersey before expanding out into other markets. In time, Awager is hopeful having this high-profile partnership in place will drive awareness of its brand and open up further growth opportunities going forward.

“the company looks well-placed to deliver on its promise of providing the most immersive and authentic casino experience on the market”

Of course, despite boasting a strong presence in both the U.S. and Canada, Awager’s sights aren’t solely targeted on North America and the company has also announced its intentions to expand into Europe via the regulated Swedish market. Having already acquired a license from the SGA, Awager will open a remote studio so that it’s perfectly positioned to make waves on the continent.

So, with a product quite unlike anything else in the industry, and ambitious growth plans across both North America and Europe in place, it seems nigh-on certain that we’ll be hearing more from Awager over the coming months – and the company is already hard at work on a packed roadmap of new features that will reportedly include tournaments, free spins and ‘jackpot-style’ bonuses.

With this likely to be just the tip of iceberg in terms of the upgrades Awager will make to its product over the coming months, the company looks well-placed to deliver on its promise of providing the most immersive and authentic casino experience on the market – and that can only be a good thing for players looking to enjoy the thrill of in-person action from the comfort of their own home.
