The PGA Tour is providing fans with a new viewing experience behind a deal with one of the world’s largest gaming and entertainment companies.

On Monday, PENN Entertainment announced a partnership with its ESPN Bet brand and the PGA Tour to bring a live betting stream to PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+. The stream, which will premiere at the WM Phoenix Open on Feb. 6, will provide viewers with live betting analysis, insights and real-time data for six FedExCup events throughout the 2025 PGA Tour season. The multiyear pact also makes ESPN Bet an official operator of the tour.

“We’re pleased to partner with the PGA TOUR and grow the ESPN Bet brand through innovative betting-themed broadcasts powered by our sportsbook,” said PENN Interactive VP of Operations Jason Birney. “ESPN Bet on PGA TOUR LIVE deepens our already robust media and betting integrations with ESPN and creates unique opportunities to engage golf fans in an entertaining way with compelling up-to-the minute data and insights.”

By leveraging the PGA Tour’s Shotlink technology powered by CDW, the broadcast featuring hole-by-hole ESPN Bet odds and markets will provide two hours of live golf coverage ahead of linear broadcasts of the FedExCup events from expert analysts.

In addition to the WM Phoenix Open, golf fans can view the live betting stream during THE PLAYERS Championship in March followed by the Truist Championship and Memorial Tournament presented by Workday in May. The Travelers Championship in June and the FedEx St. Jude Championship in August will also have a live betting stream.

ESPN Bet continues to expand

Last week, ESPN Bet launched operations in Washington, D.C. after securing a market access deal with Monumental Sports & Entertainment. ESPN Bet’s presence in D.C. provides the emerging operator with access to 20 regulated markets across America.

Monumental is the owner of the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards. The sports and entertainment company, which also owns the Washington Mystics and RSN Monumental Sports Network, was valued at $6.1 billion in 2024, according to Forbes.
