FanDuel is fresh off finalizing the naming rights deal with Diamond Sports to rebrand several regional sports networks to FanDuel Sports Network, but Flutter is still ensuring that its flagship channel, FanDuel TV, is still growing and developing.

FanDuel announced on Monday that Michael Shiffman has been appointed senior vice president and executive producer of FanDuel TV, formerly known as TVG. Shiffman joins the company from ESPN, where he served most recently as senior vice president of productions. During 24 years with the network, Shiffman has worked on everything from SportsCenter to College Game Day to the NBA Finals.

Shiffman oversaw studio and live event production for the brand as SVP since 2021. He will report into President of Sports at FanDuel Mike Raffensperger.

“We are thrilled to welcome Michael to FanDuel,” said Raffensperger. “Throughout his career, he has led countless high profile productions for the industry’s most distinguished shows, programming and live events. His invaluable experience and keen expertise were the perfect fit to maintain FanDuel TV’s continued growth and elevate the network’s opportunities as a leading player in sports betting media.”

Shiffman joins a notable list of ESPN alums within FanDuel TV, including Michelle Beadle, who co-hosts Run It Back with Chandler Parsons and Lou Williams. The network also has a syndication deal with former ESPN personality Bill Simmons’s project The Ringer.

The FanDuel TV umbrella covers not only the cable channel but also encompasses the OTT platform FanDuel TV+ and the free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel, FanDuel TV Extra, which launched in May.

FanDuel TV does not, at present, include FanDuel Sports Network, which is a naming rights deal, not one where the sportsbook is generating content for the networks.
