The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has signed a deal with Shape Games to utilize the provider’s front-end development capabilities across its sportsbook and iCasino operations.

The Choctaw Nation is one of the largest Indian Nations in the U.S. It says the long-term partnership with B2B platform and services provider Shape Games, which is part of Kambi Group, will help to develop and improve its user experiences and customer retention.

Shape will supply the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma with fully managed front-end services and its extensive suite of customer engagement solutions, supporting Choctaw in delivering superior product journeys and user experiences across both sportsbook and iCasino.

“We are excited to begin working in close partnership with the Choctaw Nation, who have a clear track record in developing successful digital businesses while creating unforgettable gaming and sports betting experiences for their valuable customers,” said Martin Mouroux Dam, managing director at Shape Games.

“The agreement represents a real milestone for Shape Games, extending our presence in the Americas with a hugely recognizable and successful operator. Trust is paramount in tribal partnerships, and we look forward to delivering a best-in-class gaming experience promoting long-term sustainable revenues for the Choctaw Nation.”

Deal extends Choctaw’s work with Kambi

The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian Nation in the U.S. Choctaw Casinos & Resorts owns and operates a variety of gaming, hotel and resort properties throughout southeastern Oklahoma, including its flagship resort located near the Texas border. It is also the official casino and resort partner of the MLB’s Texas Rangers.

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has been working with Kambi already, having signed a deal for the company to supply its turnkey sportsbook technology in April for both land-based and online use. Kambi said at that time that the deal will combine Choctaw Nation’s digital and e-commerce expertise with Kambi’s sportsbook technology in a bid to become an online and retail sports betting “powerhouse.”

Chris Scrivner, Choctaw Nation’s Executive Director of Gaming and Hospitality, said the partnership will enable the tribal operator to enhance its customer acquisition and retention capabilities.

“Shape Games’ commitment to offering seamless and engaging user experiences and proven delivery in both the sports betting and iCasino spaces aligns with our own, making them an ideal partner as we continue our growth trajectory,” added Scrivner.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, the Choctaw Nation also agreed a deal with White Hat Gaming to use its player account management system which included its proprietary cashier, multiple RGS integrations, and its traveling wallet.
