Sportradar is helping gambling operators expand their reach through innovation.
The sports data aggregator announced on Thursday the enhancement of its ad programmatic advertising service with the addition of audio and digital-out-of-home (DOOH) advertising screens. The addition of audio and DOOH advertising screens allows Sportradar’s portfolio of clients to reach tens of millions of digital audio users worldwide.
“Companies in an industry as competitive as betting and gaming need to employ smart brand strategies to cut through the noise,” said Sportradar VP of Product, Marketing, and Advertising Services Ralf Ollig. “That’s where our two new programmatic advertising channels come into play: DOOH and audio. These channels are in a prime position to reach a huge number of potential customers at the top-of-funnel.”
Sportradar will be leveraging its new media channels to reach digital audio users through podcasts, streaming services, and internet radio. It provides its clients with a personalized experience through the application of advanced AI and machine learning algorithms.
The Switzerland-based company also provides its clients with access to a global advertising inventory of more than 600,000 digital outdoor screens in over 100 countries.
“Our inventory and our targeting algorithms allow betting and gaming operators to choose ad screen locations that are relevant to sportsbook and casino customers,” added Ollig. “Our data allows us to analyze all the locations where conversions take place, creating a heatmap of geographic areas with the highest likelihood of finding potential customers.”
New leadership for Sportradar
Sportradar is exhausting its AI and machine learning technology amid a leadership change.
Earlier this month, the company appointed Behshad Behzadi as its Chief Technology Officer and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. In his role, Behzadi has the responsibility of leading Sportradar’s usage and adoption of AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
Behzadi previously spent time at Google and is a co-founder of Google Assistant.
