R. Franco Technologies has obtained a GLI compliance certificate for its IRIS platform to meet Puerto Rico Gaming Commission standards for sports betting.

Serving as a preamble to launching sports betting in the Puerto Rico market, R. Franco required GLI certification as part of the Commission’s Sports Wagering Rules and Regulations. The firm is a Spanish gaming supplier that aims to offer sports betting solutions to new markets.

Karen Sierra-Hughes, Vice President of Latin America, Caribbean at Gaming Laboratories International LLC, said: “We are excited about R. Franco Technologies’ decision to enter the Puerto Rico market and congratulate them for becoming one of the first Ibero-American companies to achieve certification for the jurisdiction.

“One of our objectives in Spain is to support our clients in their expansion goals, and we are grateful for R. Franco Technologies trusting GLI for this important milestone as we look forward to continuing to support them across the globe.”

R. Franco noted that it is committed to providing “secure, reliable, and fully compliant solutions for its clients and partners” in securing GLI certification.

IRIS is R. Franco’s sports betting platform that features “cutting-edge technology and user-centric features” and the firm will be partnering with operators in the US region to bolster their technological offerings.
