Betsul has confirmed the appointment of Fernando Garita as its new CEO to spearhead future growth across the Latin American region.
Garita is an experienced operator in the Latin American betting and gaming industry and is charged with leading Betsul in further expansion and providing the “best service to bettors and fans in South America”.
In his career, Garita has most recently served as Regional Director and Business Development Director at Betcris, as well as other companies in both Latin American and Asian markets.
A Betsul statement read: “We are confident that their strategic vision and pursuit of excellence will help us remain at the forefront of the sector and provide exceptional services to our customers in various locations.
“With this new addition to the workforce, Betsul reaffirms its commitment to continuing to offer the best experience to its customers. Created in 2019, the company is the first bookmaker in Brazil to obtain the RA1000 seal from Reclame Aqui, in addition to offering a complete 24-hour support network.”
Garita comes with industry experience and expertise, boasting certification in key disciplines such as responsible gaming, data protection, and anti-money laundering.
Furthermore, he is a member of the International Master in Gaming Law, a non-profit firm that promotes healthy expansion and development in gaming markets across a network of executives.
In his academic career, Betsul’s new CEO studied at the University of Michigan, where he was awarded a certificate for managers in the digital transformation sector.
