US Integrity has penned a partnership agreement with game data platform GRID to create a specifically-tailored integrity platform for esports.

Under the terms of the agreement, US Integrity will leverage GRID’s in-game data to monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity from esports betting. Moreover, US Integrity will work on the development of an interactive dashboard for esports, as well as make educational resources.

GRID is an esports-specific game data platform that works alongside game developers to help manage, source, and distribute in-game data.

Scott Sadin, COO at US Integrity, explained: ‘’Integrity encompasses more than just fighting against match-fixing. It entails education, policies, and procedures—a framework that fosters the sustainable growth of any ecosystem.

“GRID is committed to constructing a fair esports environment with official data at its core. Via their successful partnerships with rights holders, and cutting-edge technology, we see GRID as a natural industry leader and an excellent collaborator in the endeavor to establish new integrity frameworks in esports.”

The ostensible aim of the deal is to “support the regulatory expansion of esports betting legislation in the US” by eliminating the fears over ease of manipulation.

Further terms of the agreement see GRID supply US Integrity with a range of consultancy services and the esports expertise for it to develop the most effective integrity solutions for the esports space.

Mortiz Maurer, CEO at GRID, added: “‘GRID and US Integrity share a vision for a data-driven integrity approach in esports. Combining our expertise we aim to ensure the integrity of the match, the source, and the bet in any esports title and introduce more scalable frameworks for the industry as a whole.’’
