BetMGM has made further additions to its online casino content after securing an agreement with games studio Hacksaw Gaming.

Under the terms of the deal, BetMGM has made several Hacksaw Gaming titles – such as ‘Wanted Dead or a Wild’ and ‘R.I.P. City’ – available on its Ontario-facing online casino platform, with more content to be integrated ‘over the coming months’.

The move also sees BetMGM – which entered Ontario’s regulated igaming and online sports betting market in April 2022 – become the studio’s eighth licensed operator in the province, with similar deals already in place with the likes of Mobinc as Hacksaw Gaming bids to expand its footing there.

‘We’re super excited to strike up a relationship with a true industry mainstay,” said Gabrielle Star, CCO of Hacksaw Gaming. “BetMGM is a household name boasting a rich heritage in both land-based and digital igaming arenas, and this partnership will help us reach new audiences through our award-winning content that has already proved a hit with casino fans in Ontario.

“We continue to aim high with plans to expand into even more more regulated territories as part of our overarching global strategy this year and beyond.”

BetMGM, meanwhile, recently provided an encouraging Q1 update after reporting its total net gaming revenue had jumped up 76% year-on-year, with its online casino division proving to be particularly profitable. In the US, the MGM Resorts/Entain joint venture is the market leader in the online casino market with 28% share.
