Gaming conferences used to be an endeavor where you could count the women in attendance on your fingers. That has changed over the years and nowhere is it more obvious than the SBC Summit North America Global Gaming Women Breakfast Meetup.
Last year, the event drew around 100 women from every facet of the industry for chatting and networking over coffee and mimosas. This year is already on pace to be even bigger.
PayNearMe is back again as a sponsor along with Nuvei for this year’s edition of the breakfast, which will be from 9-10 am on Wednesday, May 10. PayNearMe Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Anne Hay is happy to be back as a sponsor, especially after the success of last year.
“The GGW breakfast at last year’s SBC was a huge success thanks to the influential power of women in the gaming community. The room was overflowing to the point of needing to expand the networking area to accommodate more women, which was both an unexpected and fantastic problem to have,” Hay said. “There was a ton of energy in the room, and you could feel everyone making new connections. I hope SBC is ready for us this year—I’m confident we’ll have an even bigger turnout and I’m looking forward to seeing both new and familiar faces!”
“GGW is excited to present another fantastic opportunity for our members and prospective members to gather together at this year’s SBC North America Summit during the Breakfast Meetup on Wednesday, May 10. We are thankful for our generous sponsors that allow us to host events like these to bring women in all areas of the gaming industry together to share ideas, inspire, and support one another and our shared commitment to constantly working to improve ourselves and our industry overall,” added Global Gaming Women President Cassie Stratford.
Those interested in attending the event can RSVP here. In order to attend the breakfast, women need to be registered participants for the conference.
