BetMGM has been recognized by the Responsible Gambling Council for its RG and player protection protocols, becoming the 18th company to receive RG Check accreditation.

Demonstrating its commitment to RG, player health, and safeguards, BetMGM was awarded an RG Check accreditation after passing a “thorough evaluation” of its RG policies, procedures, and training.

“We are proud to have received this prestigious RG Check certification,” said Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM. “This accreditation is a testament to our ongoing efforts to promote responsibility throughout our business and to ensure the well-being of our customers.

“We will continue to work closely with the RGC and other industry partners to promote a culture of safe and enjoyable gambling.”

The MGM Resorts/Entain JV brand undertook an evaluation process that reviewed its entire RG policies, player protection measures, and staff training. RGC officials concluded that BetMGM’s North American product met the minimum requirements for RG Check.

Responsible gambling has been a big part of BetMGM’s start to 2023, as the operator pledged to display RG messaging across all of its marketing campaigns moving forward.

All of BetMGM’s advertising across TV, print, and radio across the US and Canada will boat “prominent RG messaging”.

Shelley White, CEO of RGC, said: “Congratulations to BetMGM on achieving the RG Check accreditation for all of its North American platforms. This accomplishment is a clear demonstration that BetMGM has a strong commitment to responsible gambling and player safety.

“We commend BetMGM for its dedication to promoting responsible gambling practices and its efforts to ensure the well-being of its players.”
